I have a lock pick with a backup camera in my 2012. The lock pick will not work with a 2012 6 speed manual transmission though.

I did have a backup system in my '07, but I guess I didn't take any pics of it.

I/R Camera from Ebay going through the OEM Nav radio (RER) and a "Lockpick" to enable the features on the stereo (Like auto switch to rearview cam when in reverse) and to enable two other cams at any time , nav edit in motion and above all dvd while moving. Anyway the IR cams like this one has a 122* field of view so to take advantage of it I went with a nice high spot to mount it. There are a ton of smaller cameras out there however the IR on this unit shows a GOOD 30 feet behind the Jeep in near zero light. Much more (Prolly 60 feet) with just the backup lights on

I would like to install something like this on my 08 Sahara. Where did you get all of the parts and for the sake of sounding really dumb and out of touch, what is a "lockpick" and where do I get that. Is the system easy to install at
home? I am very mechanical just not so electronically savey.

THX

I found the best price for the Mygig lockpick on ebay. same for the camera. The lockpick is plug and play in you have a nav system. Remove the dash pull the stereo and plug up according to the instructions. Removing the dash and routing the wires the way you want are the most difficult part.
