Talking Battery Terminal Replacement

HI Everyone,

My 2017 Jeep Wrangler was having issues with the speedometer going to 0 while driving. After some research, I was told it could be the terminals not being secured to the battery post. I tried to use shims to have a better grasp to the battery post however the shims where to thick and ended up bending the terminals and forcing them in place. I used the jeep and the good news is that the problem seemed to go away (thank god) but now I am stuck with my terminals messed up.

I want to change the terminals and keep them as close as possible to OEM conditions (not cutting cables if possible) cause it is the right thing to do.

Does anyone have a picture / part example of how they switched the terminals? Mopar does not seem to have a replacement for the OEM Battery Terminal and everything I see online is completely different.

Much appreciated!!!

I have always looked at those, and similar things, and wondered if they were a good product. Man, that is a really clean setup you have there. Looks great!

I like the fact that you can use the threaded allen bolt for accessories, but also still use the factory still bolt mounting on top. I may have to pick up a set.

You can just cut your factory wires and use wire ferrules on the ends. I also used marine heat shrink.
