Default Best battery for the money.

Looking for a all around excellent battery. I don't have tons of lights a huge stereo or a winch but in the not so far future I plan on a winch and some lights. I'm looking for a battery that's going to last and be capable. What are you guys suggestions? Any horror stories? Mine isn't dead yet but it's voltage is pretty low.

Check around...my best price was the Optima Yellow Top but I looked at

Sears Platinum, Oddessy, and the Northstar. Consider Warranty length as well as price.

If you're going to get a winch, the YellowTop is the way to go. Great recovery rates, great longevity.

Optima has videos that are worth watching and tech assist that knows their stuff.

Sear DieHard Platinum. Best Bang for the Buck, out performs Optima and Better Warranty. Probably best to go with the straight Diehard Platinum over the Marine since it has a longer Warranty, although a nice benefit to the Marine is the 2 additional post connectors.

I went with two Deka 9A31Ms.....got a huge stereo in my JK, HID lights and a few other accessories and they havent failed me yet....Bang for the buck i think the Dekas win....warranty wise the Diehard platinum is tops.....

As for Optima....I have had some Quality issues in the past year or two with them...IMHO stay away from optima.....
