The sound you hear is the relay making contact. You would need to replace the mechanical relay with an electronic or solid state relay. This should make the click click sound go away.

It is a little loud. It only annoys me if I am sitting at a light for a long time.....but not enough to figure out how to disable it.

I guess industrial hearing loss does have it's advantages.

Talking about noises, my 2007 makes some kind of low whirr somewhere in the dashboard when I turn the key on (before starting the engine) or even without the key. For example if press the time button on the radio with the ignition off to see the time. Or I push any button...
It is very easy to notice on calm places.

Anyone knows what is that? It sounds like it is priming or arming something. :-P

Before you make a turn move the volume knob on the radio to the right. when you are done with the turn move the volume knob to the left. I know the blinker is a pita I have to have the emergency flashers on on the flight line and if im on the phone i always get can you turn that off its annoying

I know our radios have a cooling fan in them. You might hear that kick on when sitting listening to music for awhile. Annoying but I just turn the volume up!
