Codes and frayed wiring

P0302 and P0202 codes and frayed wiring and DIY repair
Good evening I need some assistance with a diagnosis and cars have gotten so much more "electrical" since I was a kid and I'd really appreciate some help.
Got a call this afternoon from the wife, said she was going to take the Jeep to the store but when she started it, it had a really rough idle so she took the other car. The Jeep has not been used for a few days and had been sitting but the weather had been dry.
I get home and check it out and sure enough, rough idle. I grab my code reader and pull codes and got,
P0302, cylinder two mis-fire detected
and
P0202, wiring, injector, ECM
I crawl under the hood and now of course it's pouring down rain and pitch dark. At first I did not notice anything amiss, then I noticed this,
I know it is hard to see but there is about an inch of one white wire missing and the remaining section is un-spun and frayed. I think a mouse or rat got to it.
Can anyone ID this partiicular wiring connector and tell me what this is and if this is what is causing my issue?

Here's a better, close up picture.
I wish I had a jumper, I'll have to go get one tomorrow after work and test it. If the rough idle is gone, then this will be the culprit. There is barely enough wire on the plug side to solder to. Does anyone know if the pin inside can be "pulled" and a longer lead attached? I'm not much of an auto electrician but I'm going to give this a shot. I just priced an engine wiring harness for a 3.6 and it's $540.00 I'm sure it hit 7-8 hrs at shop rate to change the whole harness.

Yep the pin will come out they kind of clip in when they are pushed in you'll have to eyeball it and have a small screwdriver or pointy object to release it. the repair should be done with the same size wired and soldier it and heat shrink it then push the pin back in.......make sure you disconnect the battery before you start

I just encountered the same problem and codes. I had rough idle this past Wednesday, scaned it and had P0302. I cleared it with the code reader and rode fine till yesterday. Ran rough again yesterday and this time had both codes P0302 & P0202. Tried clearing with no luck. I just turned 68k miles and was planning on changing the spark plugs. Now I'm doing this regardless.
I just had the Jeep in the dealer for the clockspring recall Tuesday. Hope they didn't pull anything.
I am going to dig into this tomorrow and try to figure out. I'll post what I find.

Alright. This morning the rain broke and I was able to get outside with some jumpers. I tested the chewed with a jumper to close the circuit, started the Jeep and no miss-fire.
Next I soldered in a splice.
After I cleaned the area up. stuffed some dryer sheets in crevices and wrapped the loom with more tape I tested the splice.
No more check engine light. I cleared the codes and now good to go. If you are getting P0302 and P0202 I'd check the loom and harness next to the intake and below the TPIM and look for fraying. I'm glad I was able to repair it myself. The dealer would have replaced the harness with parts and labor close to $1,200.00.

Turned out to be a bad fuel injector. All fixed now
