Default Correcting the Speedometer

So, you all know the problem. Once the bigger wheels are on the JK, how do you put the speedometer in order? I've found that, even with changing the gears, there are still slight problems, which, from what I've found, still leaves about a 10% difference in the speed because of the speed sensor pick up.

Do you know where the speed sensor is? I have an idea, but no positive proof.

It is being picked up by the tone ring at the axles. I am not sure which one feeds the speedo, but I know that it compares the speeds at all 4 corners for the ABS, ESP, etc...

I used the Hypertech Pro to recalibrate the speedometer. You can also get the significantly less expensive Accupro to reset the tires and gears in the computer (made by the same company).

I would not recommend the ACCUPRO. I have it and there is no support. I have not been able to return settings to stock since day one the way it is designed to do. Reached out to hypertech and they said I need to contact accupro or Procomp.

That's what I thought. The Aeroforce gauge I have displays the left front wheel speed in mph (for rear wheel drive, and left rear for front wheel drive). This is why I suspect the computer gets vehicle speed on the JK from the left front wheel. If true, regearing won't effect speedometer readings.
