Just make a note of how high the cover opens to access your stereo. Most of those covers don't open past 90 degrees (due to the 1/2 round cover face). Your height may require you to bend down to see the face of the stereo...

Just something to think about... (my fish/ski stereo is mounted about hip high, so when I'm in the drivers seat and want to make adjustments (volumn, skip, etc...,), I need to bend down to see under the opened cover)

Marine radios/stereos, IMHO, are built far superior to a comparable car CD player. As far as electronics, they're the exact same & hook up identically.

Now going about this...Go to the stereo guy, or the boat guy, to find one that properly fits? Then take to stereo guy to install?

imho none of those things with the covers will look good, it will look strange

if you are worried about mud and dust getting into the cd opening, then get an aftermarket cd player that has a fold down faceplate which hides the cd opening, it will do the job, yes it is not waterproof, but unless you plan to spray you dash with a hose, it will be fine

and will look 100% better
