pretty sure pioneer and clarion are the only two that make them at the time of this post. i've read a comparison review of the two and the pioneer didn't do bad but the reviewer raved about the clarions in comparison.

Sony has one also but it is a !0", Clownbaby used it in his install.

ya i just read that the xplod line and also Alpine type-S have shallow/slim subs.

JL Audio is making a shallow mount sub but they aren't out yet. They are suppose to come out in Fall '07

I meant the whole building process, fiberglassing the enclosure, etc.

Oh sorry, I will give you the full details.

I dropped my Jeep off Saterday morning without a box built in the storage area. I picked up my Jeep Sunday afternoon and there was a fiberglass box located in the storage area with 2 8" subs.

I did not build it so I cannot give you a step by step of how it was made. I should have better pics posted this weekend.
