You could get that tuffy radio cover also. It is only like $100 too.

I'd rather install it without the Tuffy or anything. I think the Tuffy cover is more of an attraction to thieves that happen to look in. If they want it, they're going to get it and mess up your Jeep in the process. Rather install it and hope for the best; I don't think a thief is going to steal a CB radio.

I agree. it looks like ass. Some like it though. It looks like the crap they put in cop cars to mount stuff. I was just throwing it out there.

Default Double Din?

I have a 2007 JK unlimited 4 door, I want to mount the CB under a radio where the factory radio is, but I can not tell if it is a double din or a din and half. I have a cobra 29 LX Le that used to be mounted under the radio in my honda and would really love to do the same in my JK.

Thanks

The JK is double din. The issue is the cobra cb is 2.25" tall. Single din standard is 2.11" tall. I don't think you'll get it to fit.

It fits. Very minor trimming required. There's a thread going on in just about every forum using this combo.

I think this is THE way to go. I ordered all the stuff this week along with a Tuffy security cover.
