Default Direct Sun Brightness/Visibility on Replacement Radio/Head Unit?

Fed up with the poorly implemented Uconnect Bluetooth on my 430n. Looking into replacements, but I'm having trouble finding information on what aftermarket radios have displays that are bright and anti glare for visibility in direct sun when the top is down. I know that the stingers and the alpine restyle advertise this, but those are not in my budget. I'm $600 max, but would prefer something in the $400 or less range without loosing the features I currently have with the 430. Wireless carplay would be nice, but not a deal breaker. I can always buy an adapter if necessary to meet my price point.

It seems like most of the android units have a 500nit backlight, which when I tried one, is not enough for easy visibility with the top down in the sun. Even with an anti-glare film applied.
The carplay screen I added to my motorcycle is 1000nit, and it does a fantastic job in direct sunlight. That would be ideal.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?
