I thought I would throw my 2 cents worth of thoughts out there and give you what you're asking for.

First, for not knowing much about wiring, I think you pretty much have it nailed!!
I think this is about one of the most basic wiring videos I have seen. This is an ABSOLUTE compliment! I have been fixing / repairing / and creating wiring projects for 20+ years. Started in the US Navy, then repairing high tech electronic equipment that makes computer chips, and now repairing cancer treatment equipment..... Been around this stuff a bit. Including all the "bat switches" (as my friends call them) in my CJ7 and soon in my JK!

A lot of people seem to put these videos together to show their skills and sometimes miss the point. The point being: that most DIY'ers don't have any where near their skill set and that they may be loosing the audience in the first few steps....

I think you video instructions are just about as near perfect as you can get for ANY person looking to build one of these.

I can only add one piece of advice that would improve this thread. Just add part numbers and where you got the components.

Other than that, GREAT job putting this together. (and by the way, yor much prettier than your voice!)
