you were lucky then, the exact same thing happened to me, i had a short in the wires for the horn switch, just took it to the dealer told them the horn wasn't working and they fixed it for free, at first they said i was going to need new horns but when i took it in i guess they discovered what was really going on.

Default I've given up for the rainy season

I live in S. FL too. I've given up during this rainy season on any panels off, or even windows open, unless I'm in the Jeep. I swear... it looks sunny and fine, I go into a diner for lunch. I'm in there two minutes and a little coastal shower DUMPS rain. (Those in FL know the kind... only 4 or 5 minutes, but rains like CRAZY.) At least if the Freedom Panels are on, and I just have the windows open, it's just wet seats... the Steering Wheel assembly seems to stay dry.

Oh well, in two months, our turn is coming..... Tops off for Winter!!!
