Default Driving or long range lights

I'm planning on putting a set of lights on my '08 Sahara mounted to the windshield. Would driving or long range lights be the better option? Being in Arizona, I've ruled out fog lights. I'm looking at the KC Apollo series. Are these a good choice? Any recommendations would be great.

It kind of depends on what your using them for. Personally id go spot to go the long distance. Driving are kind of inbetween in my experience. I went fog on my bumper and long range on my window. Im not sur eon your dot regulations, but i doubt youd be able to drive with either onroad. kcs are a well known brand, but personally im an led guy. Im a sucker for the white light.

I've been wondering the same thing. I was considering getting some Rigid Industries D2 driving lights because I bought their flood version and love'em. I was wanting to get something I could drive with on at all times during the night and not blind other drivers, but I haven't found out yet if the D2 driving would be far too bright. I emailed them at Rigid and it's been like a week now and I've still not heard back from anyone about my question. I wouldn't have expected that from a company like theirs.

Hope you figure something out. Might give me some ideas too.

I run KC slim driving lights. They are farther then your regular headlights and hi beams. Long range go a little wider and farther.

I use mine mainly when I'm in the mountains to see more clearly at night.
