on the back of the deck there should be a plug for video to hook up a lcd screen or something. As of right now though, you can burn songs to a dvd and should be able to listen to em that way. Holds a whole helluva lot more.

Yeah it's pretty weird that it actually says "DVD video" on the head unit (not even just DVD or DVD audio or whatever), and there are controls in the menu system for default language selection, etc. but no way to get the video signal out!?

I'm not inclined to pull mine and start hacking around back there, but I would be happy if someone else did

My guess is the connection they have on the back has video out on the bus and you have to have the right harness to convert it to RCA jacks. That's just a guess though

I can't imagine why they would remove the video out if this is indeed the same stereo going into other DC models with a rear video option. There has to be something back there.

I don't want to pull my unit out, but being a video guy I can tell you that JeepDiver is right. They don't just stick RCA jacks in the back of head units... there's a video cable of some sort that needs to be wired to a monitor or to an RCA or S-Video output jack. Any video tech should be able to figure it out.
