Question Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) problem

Hi friends-

My jeep has had, on occassion, a difficult time turning over when I start it. Today, the darn thing would not start. Finally, after 5 minutes, it turned over, albeit sluggishly. It ran rough and as I was heading to the dealer I could only get about 20 mph out of the Jeep. The ETC light was blinking.

I pulled into the dealer and he was less than helpfull, almost disinterested (an hour away from closing time). I went back out to the Jeep and it started fine, so I drove home. I got out the manual and read up on the ETC, p. 210, which recommends that I see a dealer ASAP.

Any of you ever have this problem? Is it common? How long did they have your Jeep for fixxing the issue? I have had this Jeep for 11 months, 12K miles.

Thanks
