Engine runs without ignition key

My first question would be how were the DRL activated in your Jeep? Was the computer flashed or did the garage add a separate DRL module of some description? If it was a third party DRL module put into place then this might be the source of your problems. If you computer was just flashed by your dealership then who knows.

Yes, it was a 3rd. party module for both the day light electronics and the seat heating combined but built in by Chrysler Sweden.
Because Chrysler Switzerland does not recognise this as Swiss standard and therefore do not have proper documentation nor can they obtain the proper parts, so they tell me, they have taken out all this swedish specifc connectors and cables and for them, my car has now been properly repaired. All this with 18 month of warranty to go...
