I went with the same mount and I am pleased with it. Glad you like it too. I angled mine down slightly and it got rid of any whistling I did have in the beginning and haven't had hardly any issues since.

Got the 50" curved model with RC mounts. Didn't really like how far the mounts pushed it away from the windshield so I made extra brackets to pull it closer. Very happy with results. Quality is great so far, bright as hell! Can't beat 30000 lumens
