Default Factory remote start problem

I have a factory installed remote start on a 2010 Jk Unlimited Rubicon. First thing in the morning when I try to use it the parking lights flash one time and it doesn't turn over, not even a click. When I use the key directly, it turned over with a little bit of a sluggish response.
A couple of notes:
1. It's been @20 degrees overnight and it's parked outside.
2. It hasn't been run for 12 hrs.
3. It will remote start later in the day.
4. No heavy electrical mods other than some additional lighting but not running.
5. Checked the list in the owners manual for reasons it will not start and they do not apply.
6. It has happened a couple of times this week only in the early cold mornings.

Thank you for any help!!!

Have your battery tested. I know it's fairly new but it can go bad in that cold.

the only time I had an issue so far with remote start is when a door is not closed.

Doors are secure. After the first time I triple checked.
I was hoping it was a bad battery (easy fix) but I haven't had it checked yet. Figured it was brand new. I will now.
Thank you.

Are you throwing any engine codes currently? I had remote start issues when I was throwing emissions errors.

Fuel light on? They won't remote start with low fuel.

Nope. Fuel is good. No lights or error codes popping up.
Thank you for the posts.

Do you have auto or 6 spd? On my 6 spd if you unlock the doors to get something it won't start. only after shutting down an all doors closed it will work. So any time i go in the jeep an open a door i have to start it "In nutral & parking brake on" then start it up and turn it off, and it all set for remote starting...

I have an auto. Last couple of days it has been working. But not as cold. After the holidays I'll have to get the battery checked.
