Default Fairlead light mounts...

Has anyone ever seen the roller fairleads with the light mounts? I found a few on ebay. I just wonder why couldn't you just drill a hole where those are and mount lights on existing fairlead?

Poison Spyder used to make a light mount that attached to the top of a roller fair lead. I made one out of 1.5" angle iron.

I drilled mine. All you need is a hammer, punch, and some drill bits. You really need one of those old electric drills or nicad. I got daylighters on there now, but these are what I started with. It takes some patients cause the metal is hard as hell. You also need some metal washers to get the up a little higher than the roller clips. It isn't hard to do.

Poison Spyder still does make a light mount. You can get it for the roller fairlead or Hawse style from thier website.....poisonspyder.com. Less than $30 depending on the type needed.

Here is my Poison Spyder Hawse fairlead light mount. You just undo the bolt on each side holding the fairlead on and sandwich the light mount between the fairlead and bumper, then bolt it all back together.

The PSC light mount is also drilled with an oblong hole so you can get alot of different lights to fit. I used 7.6" Daystar lights on mine though my 6" Delta lights also fit. I'll get some better pics tonight.
