A few electrical questions...
1. Interior Lighting. I've actually done some searches on this and can't tell if this is actually an issue or by design. I can only turn on my interior lights (excluding the map lights on the rearview mirror, they work as they should) with the dimmer switch on the steering wheel stalk, or by opening the doors (when set to door). Now here lies my issue. The switches located on the dome lights, do not turn the lights on. They appear to have no function when the lights are off. However, if I turn the interior lights on with the dimmer switch on the stalk, the 2 switches for the lights on the speaker bar will turn them off (and back on). The same for the dome light on the rear roll bar. So if I set the dimmer switch to turn on the lights when the doors are open, and I'm driving down the road (doors closed/lights off), the switches on the lights do not turn the lights on. If I want light in the car I have to turn all the lights on with the dimmer switch, and make sure the switches on the lights aren't switched off. Hopefully I explained it in a way that makes sense, because the operation of my interior lights doesn't. IMO something is wired or installed backwards. Or maybe all JK's are like this. I need a buddy with a JK lol.
2. I'm looking into an aftermarket head unit and speakers. I'm a big fan of bluetooth and after some reading I'm unsure of a few things. I have a '13 JKU Sahara with the Infinity sound system. Its the standard head unit, no nav or bluetooth. So my question is, does Jeep still install a bluetooth mic into the vehicle no matter what options your JK has, and if so, can I use that with an aftermarket head unit. Also, where would this mic be located? After a quick scan of my vehicle I see no openings on the rearview mirror. There is a spot on the dash by my right knee that appears to be a small vent, but mine seems to have nothing behind it. I'm assuming that this is where the interior temp monitor goes for vehicles equipped with climate control, which mine doesn't have.
3. I know LED and HID replacement headlights usually need a PWM adapter to cancel flickering, is this true of the fog lights and other lights interior/exterior (blinkers, marker lights, interior lights, etc...) if I were to just replace them with LED bulbs?
I hate creating a new thread for a few nooby questions, but I couldn't find my answers after doing some searches and looking at the FAQ.

Hi, your post(s) are too broad and combined to get simple answers. Please try asking each question in its own thread. As for the LED question, I don't believe using LEDs in simple lighting areas, dome, license plate, side markers, etc will do any flickering. I have been using LED license lighting with no problem, I have LED front fender marker lights on order (#168). Just a thought to consider, in some applications, an LED "upgrade" is a poorer functional option because of lamp housing design and LED illumination directionality. Try a few and decide for yourself. I like my IPF non LED headlights. Generally, IMO, lamp housings using internal reflectors will illuminate better with conventional incandescent bulbs.

Thanks again.
My 08 2 door is a soft top only. The interior light on the sound bar has no switch at all and only operates on the door opening and the light stalk, so I can't help you there. This electrical section is pretty active. I'll ask Ronjenx to chime in on your dome light question. He's an electrical guru and has an 08 JKU.
