Default Fog Light Harness

My JK has a front bumper that does not have fog lights.

My friend installed a winch bumper on his JK and gave his front bumper to me.
This bumper comes with fog light.

I removed my bumper and found that there is a wire coming from the hood to my
bumper but it does not go anywhere, neither does it has any harness on it. I am pretty
sure this wire can provide power to the fog light. But how can I add harness to
this wire so that my fog light can be turned on.

Another question is my JK does not have fog light switch, do I need to get a new
switch, or can I configure it so that fog light alwyas come on with headlight.

Suggestions/Hints?

As I have mentioned in my original post, my JK had a bumper without fog light.
However, there is a wire that comes from the engine compartment all the way
to the bumper area.

Since now I have put on another new stock bumper (from another JK) with fog light,
I wonder if that wire can provide power to this fog light.

I am afraid that I can't answer your question about the wire that you have found. I would say that it is possible that it could be the conductor for the factory fogs. But, I can give you some direction on your other questions.
#1) To use the factory conductors, you will have to purchase the OEM fog switch and install it. Then you will need to use fog lights with wattage low enough to sattisfy the computer ( less than 50 watts I think). And you may have to have your computer flashed.
#2) If you want fogs to be on with low beams. Just hook them up normal aftermarket style. Then just use your low beams to trigger the relay.

that wire going across the bumper is for the traction/abs system. DON'T cut into it. Your jeep, like mine, didn't come with fog lights and they didn't prewire anything. my advice is to do a relay setup and run a switch to the interior.

Thank you very much for saving me from causing potential troubles. I was attempted
to cut the wire to add a harness to fog light... Fortunately I saw your post.
