I did the same with blue. I keep them on almost all the time. The girls dig the pretty blue lights haha
Did the back too. I mounted them on the underside of the seat and grounded them to the frame inside the seat that latches to the jeep so when I take my backseat out I just disconnect one wire and take it out.

number of LEDs
silly question but how many LEDs are you guys putting in the footwells? is it personal preference? i don't want them on all the time, just when the door opens. i might go with white or red(to match jk).

I plan on putting some blue ones in. I bought some single LED's to put under the lip on the dash. I bought a few extra to use in the footwells, but I don't know how many I should use. Maybe I will get a strip. How many did you on this setup???
