Fuse J18 keep blowing

Default Fuse J18 keep blowing

Hello, if anybody can help me figure this out, all of the sudden my jeep went into limp mode and will not shift out of 2nd, has dtc P0882 and it keeps blowing fuse j18 on my jeep wrangler 2009. has anyone had this problem or a jeep experts please help.

Gday mate,

you figure out why it kept blowing? Got the same problem with my Jeep at the moment.

HI,
I did found the problem and it was as simple as a bad ground from the wire. Once i've replace the wire the jeep was running normally again.

Oh mate you bloody ripper,

Shoot us a pic of which ground wire was at fault. I’ll start by checking that one out and move around to the others.

Hi,
Here is the wiring diagram for the J18 fuse https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...wQJGZAGZSvD2LV
The wire you are looking to switch is the Yellow/Orange one. You can see on the wiring diagram this wire split so be sure to switch it at both end. I would also recommend you to use this site Mopar Connection Repair Kit
So you can see on which connector this wire is going and be more easy to identify it. Hope this help if i can help you with anything else let me know.

Hello. My 2009 JK has the same problem.
Unfortunately, I cannot read electrical diagram.
Can you please post a picture of the wires that you replaced and which Mopar Connection Repair Kits were used?
