The problems with the headlights turning on when unlocking the doors are:
1) the 18,000 times some well-meaning idiot will tell you that you left your lights on when you just ran out the the jeep to grab something during the workday,
and
2) Leaving the house early in the morning and the dog starts barking because of the lights, waking up the wife, which was what you were trying to avoid by leaving the house as quietly as possible.
but mostly because
3) It's a completely unnecessary feature, but since I actually have remote locks in a jeep, I would like to use them without the freaking headlights coming on all the time. I like the hazards flash to let me know the doors locked, but the headlights are just excessive.

Default not found with StarScan

went to the dealership today to try and have them turn off the headlight feature when unlocking the doors but service tech said they could not do it while trying with the StarScan unit....so, is this really possible or not?
