Default headlight upgrade difference

Looking to upgrade my head lights and saw these 2 options. The only difference I can tell is the addition of the bulbs?

First one is a complete headlight replacement kit designed for the JK. See the writeup in Project JK here:

The second link is just the housings.

Better to buy the complete package, if you decide to go that route. Northridge 4x4 has them a bit cheaper than Quadratec, I believe. Plus you'll get free shipping.

I'm still a bit confused. It looks the the cheaper one has the housing and wire harness just no bulbs. That is the only difference I can see. I'm looking to possibly upgrade my housing and then install some ddm tuning hid's.

all i did to get better headlights was to level my jeep and lift it a couple inches without readjusting my headlights. i can see everything now and even occasionally get brighted while in low beams

When I bought my jeep it was already lift a little bit but my lights hadn't been adjusted. I couldn't see a dang thing. I just adjusted them myself and I can see a lot better now at night.

No doubt I am still going to change to H4 bulbs but way better than it used to be.

Problem there is that you are blinding on coming drivers. Your lights are like high beams when they look at you. I know becuase I did this by installing my leveling kit and wondered why EVERYONE kept flashing me.

The Wife kept asking me if my headlights were on at night.
Ordered these http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...PF-JK_920H_KIT
No more complaints (about the lights), she does still think that I raise the Jeep up a little higher each week...
