Heated Seat kit help

How was the installation? I can take on/off my seat covers N/P, but I'm a bit nervous about de-upholstering and then re-upholstering my seats... Did you do them yourself or take them to a shop?
I didn't see any mention of weather/water resistance. I run topless and/or doorless a lot and the interior gets wet (which is why I DX'd the carpets, lined the tub and have Wet Okole seat covers).
My wife had heated seats in a previous vehicle - a fact she's never let me forget... At that price on Amazon, I'd be willing to try them. Or maybe I'll just install a set in her Cherokee

Seat upholstery is easy. I did it myself, seats installed. Lots of good info here
