Default Hella headlamp replacement

So I bought the Hella headlamps and got the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's as a gift. Does anyone use the Hella?

I do like the look of the stock headlamps and am leaning towards just installing the Sylvania's.

I travel a lot and do travel canyon passings so my purpose is to get better light to hopefully see the deer before the jump.

Default Wife has them

Our '09 has them. Far better beam patern than stock. We tried aftermarket bulbs in the stock housing and although they appeared brighter, they still didn't put the light were we wanted. Plus, the Hellas came with a relay to allow the light to get power straight from the battery, instead of through the computer. More power=more light.

so it looks like the Hella's have an H4 bulb in them - no harness. I was told it would plug into the JK.

From what i'm reading I may need a harness? guess it's time to take them out and lift the hood...

got them from 4WP - they told me it would be direct plug in, no adapters required.

Then I would hold them to it. I bought the phillips 80+ and the beams are brighter in the factory housing just not near as much as I had thought.
