Hella Light Cover
Hello,
I live in Maryland and it is against the law to drive on any public road with driving lights uncovered. I have a pair of Hella 500 Driving Lights installed. I was wondering if there was anything out there that would give the appearance that the lights are covered while still being able to use the lights. I have seen the clear Hella covers but unfortunatley these will not pass Maryland law. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

They had a tint and some panoramic image imprinted on it. The viewing angle more important than the lighting with those window films.

Make sure your tinted clear covers can withstand the heat of the lights. One of the guys here burned a hole in each of his Lightforce lights because they accidentally got switched on. I'm guessing that the covers and lenses all melted due to the heat. Making the clear covers darker might trap more heat in the lights. I have no experience in this other than seeing what happened to the Lightforce lamps.
