Default Help replacing OE fog lights with bumper mounted ones

I'm looking at two front bumpers except one has OEM fog light cutouts and the other is $70 cheaper. Do they make bumper mounted fog lights that use the OEM fog light cabling? Something I can plug-n-play?

I'm comfortable enough splicing and extending the OEM fog light wiring to fit the bumper with cutouts, but don't want to run wiring through my car and install on/off switches. Was looking at some KC HiLites Fog Lights but I can't tell if they can just plug in or like some owners install the wiring and switches.

I got my fog lights aftermarket for my bumper and all you have to do is cut the connectors off the end of the OEM cables and then connect the wires to the after market fogs and boom they will run off you stock fog light switch

Does this apply for any sort of light? I was looking at some cheap ebay led lights that I wanted to connect to my fog light wiring but wasn't sure if it would work.

Rigid Duallys can not be spliced into the factory system without additional wiring necessities.

We offer a full line of LED lights that simply plug into the factory wires, use the factory switch and work like stock. We are the only brand on the market offering this for all model JKs.

Thanks for the response those might be just what I'm looking for. I have a few questions - these things will take a lot of dirt and rocks at highway speeds in the mountains. If mounted on a bull bar will they be durable enough? Are ones mounted in bumper cutouts better at taking damage?

Also, I'm looking at the individual Revolver Lamps and it looks like I could mount them to the bull bar mount tabs correct? The Revolver lights you linked included a kit to install them in bumper cutout holes but I want them mounted on the bar.

They have a poly carbonate lens so they are much stronger than both traditional glass and plastic lens. It is extremely hard to crack a lens. Either one should take damage just as well, the bumper mounted ones, might be worse, just due to the lower height.

The Revolvers and both style CUBE lights are able to be mounted on a bull bar as they have bottom mounting posts so mounting them there would be very easy, its also a very popular place. One advantage if you were interested in the Plug and play still, is they come with about 12-14" of cable so it is usually enough to mount on the bull bar and still plug into the factory plug.

Not so sure about that. My new Rigid SAE/DOT approved fog lights work without issues.

If it helps your decision, here's mine with the Inspired Revolvers. I can snap a pic of the cables tomorrow if you want but I have plenty of cable and plugged right into my OEM plugs.

I chose this style for the simple fact I don't have enough toys to run a sPod or similar. These critters light up the drive to my house and have taken a whoopin.

Since I'm local to Inspired, I had an issue with one light...it was replaced on the spot. I'm sure it's just as easy not being local...just shipping.
