Help wiring reverse camera
So I finally installed a backup camera on my jku 2012. I bought a universal camera and wired the camera red power cable to my reverse light cable " it's white and green cable " and the black wire from the camera to the black wire of my reverse light. One issue thought, when I put my jeep in reverse is fine but when I take my foot off the brake the camera goes off and when I press the brakes the camera goes back on. Same when I have the jeep in reverse and my hazard lights are on, the camera turns On and off. What am I doing wrong ?.. Did I tap into the right reverser cabLe ??? Is it the power cable or the ground cable that giving me this issue ??? How can I fix it?? Please let me know

So pop it in reverse and make sure your reverse lamps come on. If they do, then you know the constant power is getting to them which means it isnt a power issue.
Then you might need some help from a friend to trace down the correct wires since I would agree that it seems the wires you tapped into were incorrect. Have either you or your friend keep it in reverse with the brake engaged. The other person will then need to take a voltmeter and check the wires to see which ones are getting power. You will do this by checking the lines while the jeep is in reverse and then doing so again while it is not. Keep the brake depressed and engaged the whole time so that you know which line is getting power constantly (the brake) vs which line has power only going to it while reverse is engaged.
Personally... since my camera is connected to a lockpick system (I dont know what you are hooking it up to), I like to have my camera powered at all times. That way I can flip to the backup camera whenever I want to without having to have the Jeep in reverse. But that is just my own personal preference.

This is the correct wire u are looking for. Just make sure you always test. Like mentioned get one person on the multimeter and one person in the drivers seat and hold down the brake. Put in and out of reverse a couple of times, you will see this wire go from 0 to 12v when put in reverse.

as for visiting Edmonton, I work at Adobe systems and I was visiting one of our partners, they have a location in Edmonton so I went there to provide training on our products. Now my next project is my back seat. I want to recline them a bit. My friends complain when they sit in the back so I found this mod in this forum that will solve my problem. Can't wait to be done. They should be fixed by the end of this weekend.
Again, thank you so much for your help and ping me if you ever come to Ottawa.
