Default Here we go!

OK, so I'm about to start my audio install. Starting with front speakers-Focal 165 V2 components and head unit-Alpine IVA-W200 6.5 touch screen w/iPod controls and bluetooth. I am planning on stuffing the from speaker boxes with some polyfil as well. I post pics and how things went once done. Taking things in stages. Been thinking of running a pair of A/D/S 6.2is woofers in the sound bar with dynamat, polyfil and maybe some spray foam to seal it up a bit. And then there is the JL Audio 6-channel amp I have. Not sure if I'm going to use the amp. It's kinda big, and if the woofers in the bar work, then I won't need all 6 channels. So I might get a new one. Alpine PDX???

This is going to be fun.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but I kinda want to keep that for storage. I was thinking of just getting a new one and mount it under the seat. There's someone on this forum that made one that looks awesome. We'll see.

Ok. Got the front woofers done. Hopefully have the tweets done tomorrow. And the head unit Friday. Just in time for 'Go Topless Day' in Foxboro on Saturday.

Tweeter are ready to go, just have to shave down the dash pods so they'll fit in.
Mounting the crossovers to the back of the speakers boxes.

Tweeters installed. Had to open up the pod a little to fit in new cups, but came out nice.
Today I should get the crossovers hooked up and head unit in.

Do you have the audio controls on the steering wheel? If so, are they all going to work with this setup??

Thanks!!

I didn't get that module yet. But plan to. And yes, should work perfectly.
Now I just need to dig up my amp and speakers for the sound bar, oh and time for the next stage.
