Are you going to put any highs in the sound bar too? That's a very well thought out setup so far. I like how your not cutting any corners to just get it over with. Good job!

Thanks. I like to do things right from the start and not have to 'redo' what I did in the beginning. Not sure about the highs in the bar yet. I was just going over what I already have and figured I would give it a try. See how it goes. I'll be sure to post results.

hmm. I'm surprised that there has only been 2 comments from everyone out there. (thanks blockrockin, darthbozak & notsoricer) I guess people don't appreciate high end installs and products! Enjoy.

Good question. I am planning on running an amp. The one I have JL Audio 6-channel is long. I don't know where to put it. Thinking of getting rid of it and getting a new 5-channel that would live under one of the front seats. I saw here that someone made an awesome bracket that mounts to the seat bracket and is elevated. Looked awesome. As for the RCA's, going to come right out of the head unit, and down under the console and to the seat. (if that's where I end up putting it.

Thanks. I will send photos as I go.

I am really surprised to see that it only "sounds a bit better". I would think this upgrade alone would be a huge improvement.

Yeah. Me too. However, I have discovered that it sounds A LOT better when listening to CD or iPod. FM still sucks. But I know it would sound A LOT better with an amp. So that's my next stage. Taking baby steps to make sure it comes out right and the way I want it. Plus time is VERY limited.
