Hid
If you just absolutely have to put HID's in your stock headlight housings, then the Rebel Hellfire Kit is what you want. Otherwise, hit up HID Projectors (Google) and have Tom custom retro-fit you a set of true bi-xenon projectors.

I see this kit mentioned a lot but what does the Rebel Hellfire Kit include that others don't? It certainly seems to carry a larger price tag.
I understand that none of this matters to many but the light pattern of HID bulb is significantly different from the the stock Halogen bulb, so event though the reflector in the stock housing does a halfway decent job of creating a tolerable beam pattern with the HID bulb it is far from adequate. To make matters worse the HID bulb produces 2-3X the amount for light of the Halogen bulb so the light scatter beyond the cutoff is equally 2-3X stronger. The net result is that there is a lot of light up close (all over the place causing glare) which makes the HIDs bulbs seem impressive and not that much light projected at longer distances which really matters on the road.

putting an HID bulb in a reflector housing designed for a halogen bulb should be illegal. ... wait a minute ... it is. whew! now let's put these bad ideas away and do things properly. glad that's over with.
Most LEO's won't give you any trouble as long as you stick to basic guidelines with regards to color and brightness. So changing fro shitty OEM halogens to 4300k xenons is noticeable, but not way beyond manufacturer specs. Same color as OEM HID's. And if you'll read the shootout info, you'll see (pics included) that the Rebel kit works really well in the factory housings. There's conclusive data to support that claim.
I tried HIDs in my stocks it had great spread of light to the sides but sucked in front where it mattered I had 55w 5000k drove at night once took them out they were ddm tuning a lot cheaper than rebel

I am looking into doing a projector for many different reasons but not because of poor output from the stock housings.
I run 50w hids in the stock housings and I have a very wide, and far throw. My stray light isn't very bad. I have driven in front of my jeep and it's not blinding at all. The ddm bulbs and ballast are not of high quality but I admit do last a long time. Used them before. The output of them vs other vendors is a little less. Their bulbs aren't built with strict tolerances. I had ddm before the bulbs I have now and the ddm were all over the place. Horrible output and beams of light way over the so called cut off of the factory headlight.
