Default HID Conversions

Has anyone done an HID head/foglight conversion on their JK? I'm somewhat unimpressed with the stock headlights and want to get them up to par before adding aux lighting.

If you have please let me know which kit you used and if you're happy with it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the input! I guess I'll be waiting for a "propper" kit.

Is the vibrating sound from the relay, bulb or the ballast?

I've got the fog lights in, and it was a world of difference. I haven't installed the headlights yet, just haven't had the time. The fogs were easy as heck. I didn't even use a relay for them.

jkMatt has a set we saw last weekend that are pretty nice. Just some cheapos from ebay but they were a snap to put in, you have your normal headlights on low beam and the HIDs flip on with high beam. They looked great, worked great, and were like $250. I might have to try it myself.

I'd like to put some 3000K HID's in my stock fogs ---- which kit did you use?
35 watt? Was it plug and play or did the canbus have trouble with it?

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure they were 35w, and for the fogs yes they were plug and play.
