HID Headlight buzzing
I got an MTec 6000k HID H4 kit(bi-xenon) and on highbeams the lights flicker and I hear a distinct buzzing sound....is there anyway to cure this? or is it my HID kit thats knackered.
Here is a thread describing what you mentioned, and the fix.

There is also something called a 'warning light canceller' that will alleviate this for you. It runs about $25 and includes all of the resitors/capacitors, etc as doing it yourself but this unit is just plug & play.
I dont have a warning light though, it works just like stock minus buzzing

About $3.00 worth of caps and diodes will cure your problem.

I think your only option is the caps and diode fix. I installed my HID kit a few weeks back with the warning light canceler and I have the high beam buzz also. There's also a faint buzzing sound when the lights are run off the DRL but the second I manually turn on the light switch it works fine. I have yet to do the cap and diode fix but it's next on my list.
ah okay, thanks for the info, if I run high beams for long time on high way and back roads for visibility, will it cause any damage?(with buzizng until I get a fix)
