Default HID Headlight buzzing

I got an MTec 6000k HID H4 kit(bi-xenon) and on highbeams the lights flicker and I hear a distinct buzzing sound....is there anyway to cure this? or is it my HID kit thats knackered.

Here is a thread describing what you mentioned, and the fix.

There is also something called a 'warning light canceller' that will alleviate this for you. It runs about $25 and includes all of the resitors/capacitors, etc as doing it yourself but this unit is just plug & play.

About $3.00 worth of caps and diodes will cure your problem.

I think your only option is the caps and diode fix. I installed my HID kit a few weeks back with the warning light canceler and I have the high beam buzz also. There's also a faint buzzing sound when the lights are run off the DRL but the second I manually turn on the light switch it works fine. I have yet to do the cap and diode fix but it's next on my list.

this is the plug and play method. Looks like they are out of stock right now.
You may want to contact them.

I would not run them that way for a long time. You will not be getting full power to your hid ballast and the relay will not last very long.
I would print out this diagram and see if they understand it. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...95&postcount=2
