I used VVME canbus ballasts, and they are working great so far (but that is only 4 days ) If flicker is going to bother you at all, I would get a canbus ballast - DDM should have them too.
do u have the link for vvme canbus ballasts? and how are they holding up?

No link, as they aren't listed on their site - I have no idea why. If you give them a call or ask them on their chatline they will have it though. I don't know the price either, sorry , there was a mixup with my order at first and they sold me the canbus ballasts at $75 (minus $62 for first kit) as a remedy. They definitely don't sell a lot of them, the first kit came in a nice box with a logo and sticker with everything, this one was in 4 OE looking boxes taped together haphazard with no markings, instructions, screws, etc.

As far as holding up, so far I love them - one of the best mods I have made. But you have to remember I have only had them a week or so - and I have no idea of their long term performance. There is such a difference that even if they only last a year (warranty is 1 year) I will keep replacing them yearly.

with the 55w kits out there now I was guessing the canbus wouldn't cause any issues? Is this not the case?

I installed my vvme canbus hid kit today , I called the hotline and they said the buzzing or humming sound that I'm hearing is the ballast not the relay , hopefully all will go well.

If you let the ballast "warm up" for a bit the sound decreases and becomes less noticeable. I think the ballast is just in "high gear" to get the salts in the light up to temperature. It may be my imagination, but I think the ballasts on mine are quieter than they were at first (since install) - doesn't make any logical sense, so I am probably imagining it.

So now that you have them installed, what do you think?

I think they are awesome , every jeep should come factory with these. I don't even need the brights , highly suggest this kit.
