Default How?

I guess this belongs in electronics. How do I get my rear windshield wiper fluid feed tube to pump fluid when the top is off and connector unpluged? It seems there is a safety disconnect for the pump motor that will not allow it to pump when the wiper motor control is unplugged. Is there a way to bypass this?
Now that everyone is going "WHY?" I will tell you my idea. I get a lot of tailgaters who ride my bumper so close I can barely see them in the rearview because of the tire. I was thinking that if I could use the wiper fluid pump as a watergun of sorts I could get them to back off some. I already know the little orange nozzle from a water gun will fit the tube like it was a mopar part but I need the pump to work to make this work. BTW I will do a write up on it if I ever get my idea to work but now I am stumped.
Before you comment I have had comments from people like "that will make them hit you", and "you realy want to tick people off" so i know the risks. I think this will work because it is a known fact that at speed washing your front windshield will send a spray over the vehicle ont a tailgater's windshield and cause them to back off. I just want to improve on that idea. Of course what I realy want to do is make up an automatic paintball gun that looks like a turret gun that will fill the window with paint when I remotely activate it but that would be going a bit too far.

i don't know how to do what you want to do but...
on my tj i used a needle to 'adjust' one of the front sprayers. it points as high as possible and shoots right over the top of the heep. you don't even get wet with the top off. the other 3 shoot normal so i can use them if i need them.

I'm with you on that. I have a 94 cherokee that will do that with no problem.
I get tailgated all the time, especially in the morning going to work. I'm on the hiway at 4am and usually get tailgated by the only other car on the road. I'm talking three lanes in one direction kind of hiway, and I always travel in the far right lane I hit 'em with the KC backup lights and they fall back really quick....

Two words..... 50 Cal.... A rear facing 50 cal will cause all motorists to back away from your vehicle.... very quickly.

Haha.. seriously, it sounds like you've got a good idea here.

I wanted a turret that is modified to shoot tennis balls. There is no way to prove that I launched it, when it is done with air power. Plus, it is my air-powered-tennis-ball-launching word against theirs.

I have (HAD) and LED sign that scrolls 100 messages (60 of your own, 40 pre-set).... I thought up this and had it on a hot key: "Tailgating can be hazardous to your health... BACK OFF NOW!!!". It worked great... until it gave up the ghost two weeks ago. The microprocessor chip got hung up in it's routine somehow... this may be one of the reasons why the company is out of business now. I loved that damn sign... may it rest in piece.

A guy I know had it set up so his YJ would piss out just in front of the rear tire. When someone would walk up to talk to him on the trail, he would hit a button, and let the big dog pee...
