Default How do I create DVD music?

I have the 6 disk DVD player in my JK and read somewhere in this forum that you can burn music to a DVD instead of having to plug in an Ipod. How does one go about doing this? Trying to use Itunes I am only able to create a data DVD which will not play in the stereo. Thanks.

nero software will work, cd juggler, and many more will work. They all have a selection to "Make Music (or Audio) DVD" set up your directories/sub-directories and burn... as long as it the DVD player, it will work.

I have Nero 7, and I just burn my MP3s to a "Data DVD." The JK reads it just fine... may be some iTunes-specific problem...

I just use the Sonic software that came with the computer. I download and store all my cd's at best quality and then burn them at the best too. I drag a whole file or album at a time instead of individual songs. That way when I hit the list button I can scroll through different album titles and then select the one I want.

If I want music for my Ipod, I drag it over to Itunes and it compresses it to its format. But my originals stay mp3's.

You should just be able to use the built in burning software on your CPU (windows on PC, finder on mac). Basically, organize your .mp3 files into folders the way you want it to be organized on the disc. The head unit will only read one level of folders, so what I do is make each album a folder. Once you have your folders, just stick a disc into your drive, drag and drop the folders into the disc, right click (control +click on mac) and select burn files to disc. The operating system should do the rest.

Haven't checked the manual yet, but I don't think that the HU's will play AAC files which may be your problem with I-tunes.

Itunes uses DRM (Digital Rights Management) whenever you convert or create MP3s out of their format they still include DRM. There are some tools out there that will allow you to strip Itunes DRM and then convert to MP3 or another file format of your chosing.

How do I create DVD music?

You could hold one in the palm of each hand and clap them together like crash cymbals...

I have also noticed this with my basic windows media. BY THE WAY, if you don't want to spend 15 hours ripping cd's and end up with DRM. Don't USE ITUNES. It's just another way feeding into Apple ways (ed. Macintosh, Iphone, Some new system that doesn't sell in the common). IF YOU use WINDOWS media, just uncheck the copy protect music. It will still rip, but without DRM.... What a joke???

MY QUESTION, what can I use that will not diminish my quality for DRM removal. I could rip the whole collection, but what's really easy to use outh there......????
