Default how much before you need to upgrade?

I currently have a set of 100 watt spots on my windshield. Once the snow melts i want to add two more courtesy lights in my trunk, and two back up lights in my bumper, and two flashers in the rear bumper with them. I plan to add more accessories down the road too. I need to know at what point is it too much, and i have to make power upgrades( dual batteries, bigger alternator)? Just trying to plan out the future upgrades.

If you step into the LED world, you'll pretty much never have to worry about dual battery or larger/upgraded alternator. They draw so little power that even the 50" Rigid or VisionX LED light bars we install don't even dim the headlights when turned on.

Dual battery setups will help you out with longer excursion type wheeling events or running 24/hour systems like an ARB fridge/freezer.

Cheers,
Bond

@ approximately 60 Amps. Depending on the current size of your alternator. But remember, the closer you come to that magic number, the harder your system has to work to do it's job.

This is exactly why I started ditching mine, I was running 9 aux lights ranging from 35W hid's to standard 55W halogens, and when they were all on you could hear and see everything straining to run, swapped out half of them right now for LED and no more strain...Still going to do the rest as soon as I get the funds. LED's are well worth it in the long run.

Yes. 60 amps additional load. I think that there is about 3 different "stock" alternators depending on year / model. I haven't kept up with all that.
