Default I think I pissed my jk off!!!!

Ok, so I go to get in my Jeep this am to head off to work , started hr up and noticed the winshield wipers were on. I thought maybe I bumped the "stick" ( whatever its called" , i figured well while there on might as well spray some washer fluid any clean the bugs off. I pulled the stick and no fluid.... though "well shit Im out of fluid I'll pick some up today while Im at work".
So I went to turn the wipers off since there wasnt a cloud in the sky much less any rain, and I noticed that the wipers were in the off position. I figured that i was out of fluid and that the wipers were just going through the normal cycle like i was washing the windshield. I figured that Id try to see if the back wiper would work, no such luck, no spray and the wipers would not turn on either.

Thats when I noticed that my head lights were on , but the switch was in the off position and the guage lights were dim , I usually keep them pretty bright. So .... I tried my blinkers, no such luck either. I turned her off and let her sit for a sec and started her back up and still the same thing

Everything that is controlled by the two "sticks " on either side of the sterring colomn had a mind of there own and were not responding. the ony thing that worked on the colomn was the cruise control.

Needless to say I felt like an idiot driving to work this am with my wipers flapping away on the high setting, unable to get them to stop. and there was'nt a cloud in the sky. Gonna have a buddy come get it and drop it off at the stealership and let them figure it out.

Any suggestions as to whats wrong with her

I thought about that , but its never been rained in ( interior has never gotten wet, YET) . It hasnt rained here in about 2 weeks. and havent done any water crossings in quite a while and those were no deeper than 12" and I was sure to take it slow and easy , that was 6-8 months ago.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for 60 seconds?
(I think 60 sec is enough for a reset)

I had some problems similar to yours, but they were all kind of hit and miss. Took it to the shop, and they replaced the "Multi Function Switch" Both stalks run to a "box" that controls the lights, wipers, ect. it is located under the steering column, and is under warrantee. Took about an hour.

LOL my brother works at a dealership and has an "easy button" 2-sided taped to his tool box!

Every A-hole in the place walks over and hits that thing!

I think you are possibly the target of a mean spirited entity. Have you had any enemies that have recently died? Were you a jerk in a previous life? Have you said GD more than twice in the last week?

Sorry, those are the first things I think about when stuff like that happens to me. And sadly, my answers are all "YES", so I guess I deserve it....

why didn't you just pull the fuse? or at least remove the wiper arms and just let the wiper motor run. The arms pop off pretty easily.
