right--the stock speakers are poop--but are the infiniti's any good? i may do the nitro amp thing too--

do you need to have the jeep flashed? or is it plug and play?

The stock infinity's? i dont think so...the sahara sub itself is all paper and a POS in my opinion. i would like to see an 'infinity' speaker and a regular stock speaker sitting next to each other. i have a feeling they would be exactly the same thing. i swapped everything out. u may want to consider a component set for the fronts.

oh..i never had my jeep flashed even after i did the nitro amp. some threads here say that u can flash your current setup and it will re-configure your soundbar to play at full range.

Can anyone answer this question? My only complaint in my 2010 Sahara w/infinity in the sound bar speakers. Volume is lower and they sound mid rangey and not a full spectrum of sound.

X2...I'm in if it helps the Infinity system, I just haven't seen a definite answer yet

Infinity amp does not produce full range 2 the rears. That's y some people went with the nitro or an after market amp

..so the infinity amp is the culprit for the range issues? By my reading, he infinity amp just cut volume... I understood that the Nitro amp just increased volume. I don't really have issue with volume... just range of sound.

I had wondered if a high quality, high signal to noise ratio component set and drilling a tweeter hole would help... just on the sound bar. I'm okay with the front and the sub is okay.

My 2010 Infinity system just has too much midrange overall.

Yup infinity amp is cutting the range. Some postings people said that flashing the computer fixes the issue. So for about $130 you can either get the nitro or go 4 an after market

I mean how loud do you need the damned radio, I can play mine 07 2dr (w/ infinity) with the top down at 80mph and still hear it fine? Now i'm not going to lie and tell you that the dbl bass drums on some Soulfly or Avenged sevenfold sounds as good as it could but hey its a jeep and it gets "wet" with rain mud and all sorts of other abuse. I for one am not one for spending more money later because I got my stuff wet.

Hey just my 2 cents worth,

Oh and I did have the joy of hearing a "Stock" radio if you have this one change it out quickly, sounds terrible.
