I have prewired (and tested) my backup camera, but I am waiting for a dry weekend to actually mount it to the rear.
Really? The site says works on 2008-2011 models and 08-10 do not have steering wheel controls. I don't see why this wouldn't work in an 08... the device will handle the touchscreen display to iPod connection.

I'm toying with the idea of putting a GO camera or something waterproof in the front/under so I can see terrain on approach!

New wrangler - you need a lockpick and the mopar after market iPod cable. Retail about $450 and is easy to install and will take about an hour if you are mod savy and an hour and a half if not. All of the pieces come with good instructions and are very straight forward. There are several lock pick install write ups and I can post a iPod cable write up if you can't find one (just pm and I will write it up and post the link)

So my lockpick install went pretty smoothly. However, the A/V harness cable was pretty short, and wouldn't reach my glove compartment, so I had to run out and buy the apple composite cable & hook it up before putting the MyGig & dash together again.

What's the difference between the Mopar iPod cable and aftermarket connections/cables?
