Ah I just want one sub in my 2 door jk I already have trouble fitting all my gear in the tailgate area. So a 2 channel should be good enough for me? If was to go with one sub and factory speakers.

Would I be able to just swap those component and tweeter speakers with the factory ones? Is there a stock crossover I can simple swap out?

Yeah Ill go with the 4 channel then if I want to use those kicker comps with a sub. For now will I be able to swap out the factory comps with the kicker comps and tweeters is there a factory crossover I can swap out as well to run those?

I think I'll pay as much as 400$ for an amp will this be sufficient? amazon.com/Alpine-PDX-5-Amplifier-4-channel-Mono-power/dp/B0016AJS5Q

Have you considered this:

I used an older version in my TJ and it sounded way better than expected. I hooked it up so I could easily take it out for off roading or when I needed to haul something. I think its worth a look.

If you want to go with those kicker speakers and just had 1 sub a 3 channel amplifier would do just fine you can always get a 4 channel if you plan to add extra speakers in the future. Take a look at this website they have real good prices on their equipment they undercut crutchfield by 100 dollars

When looking at any kind of speaker being a full range a subwolfer or component speaker what you wanna look that is not the max watts but the RMS watts. The higher the RMS the better and that also goes for a head units, don't get fooled by the max watts each product advertises

Yes that would be more than enough to power all your speakers. Just keep in mind That in the car audio department technology is constantly getting better any person should not become loyal to just 1 brand, research and find what works for you.
