instant off radio when doors are off.
So, I managed to accidentally change the settings for my JK when I was trying to reset the MPG this summer.
Somehow, I turned off the setting that leaves the radio running when you turn off the ignition and the doors are off. As soon as I turned off the key, the radio instantly turned off.

The weather got rainy for a while after that, and I managed to turn it back to the way it was, so that the radio stayed on for a minute or so after the ignition was turned off.
Then I took the doors back off again, and after a *LOT* of messing around with the reset button, I got the setting to go again back to instant off when the ignition goes off.
Now it's fall, and I'm thinking of messing with it again to get it back to the setting where the radio stays on after you turn off the ignition.
Before I waste a lot of time with this, has anyone else figured out how to do this yet?
All I know is that the ignition has to be turned on, but not running, and you need to hit the reset button (next to mpg gauge) and hold it in a certain pattern, that I do not exactly know. I found this by accident, but I've managed to do it 3 times now (off, then on, then back off again.)
it also seems to change other things, such as turning the language on my mygig to spanish or french depending on how many times I push that button.
Once I figure it out, I'll post a writeup, but last time it took me like 45 minutes of pushing that button before I finally got it right, so if anyone else knows, please post.

well I turned it back off first try.
not sure exactly, but I turned ignition to on, held the button, it turned my temperature to celcius. I hit it a couple more times, turned it back to farenheit, and next time I turned off my ignition the radio stayed on.

Guess I'll leave it alone till next spring since it's working the way it's supposed to. I think I need to take video of exactly what the sequence is.

I haven't heard of anyone else who has done this, and last thread I posted a few tried and weren't able to do it. The second time I turned off the radio delay, it took me nearly an hour to get it right, I was pretty frustrated at that point, but since I already knew it would work, I kept going till it finally did. It did a lot of other things such as changing the language, changing the length of time my headlights stayed on after the key went off, and a few other strange things I don't recall right now... none of which I can recreate intentionally since I don't know what sequence I pushed to make them happen.
I'm sure the sequence is something simple, but for right now, I don't know the specific combination, and just keep pressing that button till it changes the way I want.
Once someone figures the sequence out, I'm sure that pretty much everyone will be doing it. For now, though, it seems that nobody knows how. If this is already documented somewhere, I'm not aware of anyone who has found it.
