I've read the whole thread so far because i too want to put mine in the Jeep. The best scenario is the Otterbox idea or the Ram mount and a good fixed position either off the passenger floor (seat mount type), or the dash.
It was actually one of the first things i wanted to do before i even took delivery of the vehicle.
Whith such a rounded new dash style it makes it a bit more difficult but not impossible.
There is actualy a guy who made a heck of a cool mount for the Subaru Imprezza (WRX) that i would love to see for the Wrangler, but there is definitley not the interest here, as was there.
Heres something else that was found a while back.... http://www.thewallee.com/ <-- It looks to give a few different options if you can think outside the box a little.
I dont like this one as much because it is suited for the rear passengers but again it could be used in the front with a bit brain power --> http://www.scosche.com/consumer-tech/product/2187
RAM has the seat mount style but i'm not going say much about it,, but i know it is a very good item and is being used with a lot of different tablets and/or laptops..

I think cops 4x4's option looks like the best solution to me. It can be easily removed and no extreme modifications need to take place. I'm just wondering about how it's charged. Others have pics? Thank you for all the great ideas.
