There's a choice now? Dang, I want white bulbs, they weren't an option when I got mine...

Yes; the short ones don't belong on an offroad vehicle.

I Disagree a 60" Hi lift jack is akward to use and to store.

I call them blue because when they are turned off and you look at the front of the Jeep, you will see blue reflected in the headlight. Turn on the headlights and you will see a hint of blue at certain angles in the light. Way too ricer for me.

I put the cheapest Sylvania halogen lamps in my IPF units and they color-match perfectly the stock lights. And they are so good now that I can barely detect when I turn on my off-road KC Slimlites. The IPFs are that good. But, get rid of the ricer look and use $20 halogen bulbs and you will be delighted with the performance. IMHO, this is what the upgrade kit should have offered from the get-go.

But a 48" will often max-out before your wheel or diff is lifted (suspension travel) ----- also makes winching more of challenge.
The short HiLifts lead to more creativity which leads to more injuries.

Default Just Put them on

Late to this thread, but I figured one more prospective couldn't hurt.

It took just under an hour to install the lights. I was surprised how easy the install was. The light output is great (both high and low beam). I would highly recommend them. And to comment on them being blue, they reflect blue, but the light they produce is white. I also have some build pics if ya'll want them.

Ooooo; you're local.
Care to meet one night and do a side-by-side beam shot comparison?

My headlights ahve been in ~ 1 week and my driver side is now not working. Gonna have to check the connection/bulb to see what is going on.
