Now that she actually has music on it, it play fine through my REQ (6DVD) unit, but no charging and no bluetooth.

For those with 1st Gen iPhones and 2.0 update that are working with uConnect, Does your iPhone work on:
Voicemail?
Music? (no wires to aux)
Alerts? (from: text, email, voicemail, etc.)

actually I have no clue. I always use my phone to dail the numbers. I will try tomorrow.

No the iphone does not support music streaming over BT. Neither does the myGIG I think.

Has anyone with any version of the iPhone been able to charge it over the uConnect iPod connector in the glove box?

They didn't replace mine with a 3g only a v1 with 1.1.4 I'm waiting for word to come out that the problem has been fixed either with Apple or Chrysler before I update to 2.0 again.

Updated the girlfriend's iPhone to 2.0.1 last night and no difference.

Bluetooth - Pairs but won't work for a call
Music through iPod cable - Works correctly
Charging through iPod cable - Does not work for a 3G Iphone
