i just bought a new 2012 jk and when using bt with my iphone 4s all works fine but when i plug it in via usb to charge, it says accessory connected on my phone. my question; is there a way to make it so i dont have to go thru my stereo and give me control with my phone like i can when using bt? i have the connectivity group with the 130 media stereo.

 

I was wondering the same thing, everytime I plug mine in you need to choose USB or Bluetooth . It would be cool to just plug in and its ready to go

 

Yes there is.. Jailbreak iPhone using redsnow and get the app called no slash screen acc. No other way I know.

 

that sucks. i dont really want to jailbreak mine. i had a sony xplode in my truck and that had a setting to use either radio or ipod to control. i hope this has that kind of setting and we just dont know about it yet.

 

Jailbreaking is very easy and offers lots of nice extras. I understand your concern bit just wanted to offer some confidence if you are worried about doing it.

 

I am looking for the app. Is it actually "NoAccSplash"? I think this is the correct one. Or maybe it is just similar.

 

Just do this....buy one of those cigarette lighter charging adapters with the USB plugs on it.
