Default J8 Sarge Parking light/cover

Does anyone know anything about this light? Thought at first it maybe just a cover, but looking some more, it may be a complete replacement.

It is a blackout light. What it allows is just a minimal amount of light to show, so that only friendly forces with night vision devices are able to see it. Primary use is for convoys at night in the military. I do not recommend for your Jeep if being used as a daily driver due to the fact that it replaces the turn signals all together.

I figured thats what they were, but didnt know they emitted that little of an amount of light. Pretty cool, thx.
The same look can probably be achieved, with a much brighter, road worthy lens cover.... It would be a lot of calories to burn for a small detail but might be a fun crafty project.
