Default jk headlights

Anyone know if the Truck-Lite LED headlights are compatible with the 2012 JK's? Yes, I know they are ridiculously expensive...but they seem to be among the brightest, and definitely the longest lasting, out there.

If someone has them and can give me a thumbs up or thumbs down, please do. I'm wondering how they hold up to the rigors of wheeling, the elements, etc. In short, if they're really worth the $.

Otherwise, I'll probably go with the Delta xenons or the IPF HID's. Might not save me much in the long run, though. The IPF replacement bulbs are $65 a pair.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

The thread backed up a couple of my questions:

How well do they work?
How long do they last?
Is wheeling w/them gonna trash them?

I live in Wisconsin, so deal with a lotta cold and a lotta snow. A couple of folks mentioned that they might not hold up well in such conditions.

Anyone who has or has had them...care to elaborate?

WOL has them front and back on his JK. He does some SERIOUS wheeling!

If you are looking to save some $$$ the Hella H4's with a harness are really great.

The only Hellas I've been able to find have been for JK's up to '06. Do they make them for '12 JKUs? If so, who sells 'em?

That's where I first saw them, on a pic of his rig. But he's in CA, I'm in WI. Gets a little chillier here...I'm wondering how they'll work when it's -20 degrees and snowing like crazy.

Okay, did a little more digging and found what I need.

In case anyone else is interested, the Truck Lites are apparently VERY sturdy. Tested in desert environments, Alaska, etc. Mfr claims they'll work in temps from -58 F to 158 F.

Between that and WOF's writeup in Project JK, I think I'm sold.

There is a comparison on *************.com in the JK section. Look for an article by hilldweller.

You may want to wait a little bit before ordering these...there is a new version coming out after SEMA, according to Dave from Northridge
